When strangers arrive in Valaryn, with news of the return of the demon army led by the Demon King, Lo'kan, Aryth's worst fear has come to life. She must make the difficult decision to send her Dragon Riders to fight against them once again.
The demons; cruel, monstrous creatures of darkness and blood, had invaded Valaryn only a couple of years ago. They were beaten back, but at a greater cost than Aryth had ever wanted to pay.
Clearly, their victory hadn't lasted very long.
With the help of Elias - a Prince of the neighboring kingdom of Teralia - and his brothers, as well as a few unusual allies from a different world; Aryth and her dragon Skygge must lead the people of their world to victory to end the demon threat once and for all, to save their world from utter annihilation.
She can only hope that the bright flames of her dragons and the strength of her bloodline is enough to make a difference and banish the darkness forever this time.
