That, contemplating the vast extent of the Colonial De pendencies of Great Britain, with the important amount of in?uence for good or for evil necessarily exercised by them over the Aboriginal tribes in or near those dependencies, this meeting rejoices in the formation of a Society having for its special object to watch over and protect the interests of the natives, and of Aborigines in other parts of the world and, further, that the Report now read be received, printed, and circa lated, under the direction of the Committee.
