This "First Aider's Pocket Companion" has been written for trained first aiders. Its aim is to provide an at-a-glance reminder of the signs, symptoms, and treatment for 28 emergency situations. These cover all the situations that a first aider is likely to encounter, both in and out of the workplace. Tables of differential diagnoses for angina heart attack, and hypo- and hyper-glycaemia, are also included. The book is deliberately concise and pocket-sized for convenience, and contains adequate spaces for personal notes.
