God will do nothing without first revealing his secret to his servants the prophets as in the book of Amos 3:7. He revealed the mystery of Nebuchadnezzar's dream to the prophet Daniel (Dan 2:19), thereby saving the wise men from certain death. This book is a short overview concerning things that must first take place prior to the coming of the Lord Jesus. The key to understanding these prophecies is the incident of the fig tree in Mt 21:21. The revelation of the antichrist and the imminent inheritance of the kingdom by the saints will be revealed. I believed, and therefore have I spoken (Ps 116:10, 2 Cor 4:13-14).
