Maxwell is a former Army Ranger and is currently a Department of Defense Guidance Counselor who works daily with with Soldiers and Veterans. An avid sports fan, Maxwell is the co-creator of the Sports by the Numbers book series (Savas Beatie Publishing). His favorite baseball grounds is Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City. Scott D.W. Jones was born in southern California; a retired federal employee, and an Army veteran. He developed his love and passion for the sport of baseball growing up in southern California attending many games of the Dodgers and Angels. The sounds of a ballpark: watching batting practice, hearing players chatter back and forth, the sound of the ball hitting the glove during outfield practice, sunlight drenching the stadium, the smell of popcorn and hot dogs is something that can never be replaced and shall always be ingrained in my mind and soul.
