Publisher's Synopsis
This book is concerned with the dynamics of export channels using a network approach. It uses 29 case studies of United Kingdom?s firms exporting into the Peoples Republic of China as its empirical basis. The theoretical framework employed in the study differs from traditional models on export channel dynamics and focuses on the connectedness and links between actors, activities and resources to describe and explain the dynamics of export channels. Moreover, the analytical framework acknowledges the multiple causation or contingent causal powers of connectedness and links between actors, activities and resources.
