Since 1880, when Mr. Holmes requested me to re-edit Sir G. M. Humphry's article on the Diseases of the Male Organs of Gene ration for the third edition of the System of Surgery, my attention has been drawn to these subjects. It will be seen that in one point. The title of my book is not correct; the necessary limits of space have prevented my entering into many details connected with the Prostate which might have been included in a completer attempt than this.
