Publisher's Synopsis
It is the year 2011, and the United States is emerging freshly hurting from the jarring shocks of the global economic downturn of 2008-2010. The jobs landscape paints a dire picture of the worst recession since the Great Depression of the 1930's. President Barack Obama's Administration is challenged with the onerous task of turning the economy around from its downward spiral, yet at the same time expected to keep the obligations it promised to its people. Lost in this tidal wave of change is a young generation of future workers, a displaced Baby Boomer population, and a demanding hyper connected international market that are waiting on the sidelines, hoping for the green light from a leader to steer them in the right direction. The uncertainty of not knowing what to expect is frustrating the American people. Seemingly, Pandora's Box has been opened, and all the troubles have come out except for the one thing everybody is waiting for... Hope.
