When Boston teen David Smith falls through a magic portal to the war-torn nation of Colnia, he finds himself caught in the middle of a civil war. He joins the rebellion to fight the dictator queen and her army of Warlocks, and he begins to realize that the leaders of the rebellion may want more from him than they are letting on. An ancient artifact called the Crown of Colnia was forged hundreds of years ago by a hero of legend, and its power is what is needed to defeat the queen and save Colnia. The only person who can use the Crown is someone from another world, like the hero...someone like David.
