Several ongoing threads are revisited over the year, made up of different people, science, politics, and the devastation of the American economy. The journal ends with the U.S. presidential election of 2020. Despite the seriousness of the subject, the overriding message is that we intend to survive and defeat this common enemy-COVID-19.
