Publisher's Synopsis
Having taught elementary-aged Sunday School students for many years, Sandee Freese realized that most curricula usually just teach individual stories of the Bible, without connecting them to God's overall plan of redemption through Jesus, the Messiah, our Savior. This disconnect has caused generations to be denied the depth and breadth of the Scriptures which would anchor their faith in times of testing. Could this be one reason why so many of our youth are leaving the Faith when they graduate from high school or college?
To help combat this problem, Mrs. Freese wrote The Core Mystery specifically to show the connection of Old Testament stories to Jesus and His plan of redemption.
