The edition of the Minutes of the Conference referred to is that which is usually termed the new octavo edition, vols. I. To xxi., and the volumes which have been issued annually since the year 1879. The term District Synod has been sub stituted for that of District Committee, except in the Historic Documents contained in the Appendices. The word Minutes is not printed before each reference, but is inserted when it forms part of a Resolution, or is required for the sake of clearness.
