The Firs are noble pyramidal trees which often attain great height combined with perfect symmetry of form. The broad, thick needles which densely clothe their branches. Are most attractive at all seasons of the year, and particularly in the spring when the delicate new growth is advancing. They like a good moist soil and a free exposure to the air and sun.
