Why, Granger's Hotel, which reared its straggling, clap-boarded bulk in the square where the street ended and the pike began, sometimes had as many as fifteen farmers for din ner, and then there would be such a burly - burly of queer vehicles hitched outside - muddy or dusty, according to the state of the weather - that they blocked up all that part of town.
