The Chronicles of Eboni Steele is a fiction, inspired by true events. The narrative and journal of the character Eboni Steele details her struggle as a fatherless daughter. The main character Eboni faces many challenges and obstacles as a fatherless daughter who yearns to be loved by a man. She seeks acceptance and approval from her family and peers. Eboni's journey is very unique when she converts to the Mormon faith and is one of a few Black Mormons living in her community. She later renews her faith in God and comes to terms with being a fatherless daughter.
