The Partners

Special Agent Lucien Sanders and Psychic Medium Ayano Jones are back and better than ever. After the strain of trying to recover from their last major case, Ayano is ready to jump back into their work, but Lucien wants to protect her from getting hurt again. Unfortunately, it seems fate has her own plans for the pair.

The Case

Three people with seemingly no connections have been burned at the stake, literally. And it seems the killer is just getting started, though their method keeps changing. The theme seems to be the same though, as if the killer is trying to recreate the Witch Trials. With each new victim, Ayano feels the pressure weighing down to find those responsible before the killer kills again.

The Complications

One of the victim's families has hired television psychic Antonia Rockwell, Ayano's biggest rival, and Antonia is proving to be more intune with the Spirits, which begs the question: is Ayano losing her touch? How can Antonia be there at every turn? Can she help Lucien catch the killer, or could this be the end of their partnership?
