Antenna, cylindrical, somewhat abruptly enlarged. Outer margin of secondaries rounded, Bo indication of an angle. Color. Above. Both wings, yellowish-red; narrow margin along the veins, margin of both wings, triangular spot near apex of primaries, and curved band on secondaries, black; line of spots on extreme margin of winga, another line in black margin, and five spots in a black triangular spot, white: slight spot in black field in central cell, near second vein, also white. Beneath. Similar to above, but paler on the secondaries and apex of primaries; the markings are more distinct and the white pollings more decidedly crescent shaped; there is row of bluish spollings along the upper margin of the curved band on the secondaries.
