for SATB unaccompanied 'The Bridge of Fire', written in 1906, is the title poem of James Elroy Flecker's first published volume. It is largely a vivid description of the many Gods of Heaven, the great and the good, the bad and the ugly. This setting deals only with the first and last of the poem's six verses.
