The character of "Brave Billy" was invented by my Dad. I had so much trouble sleeping as a child due to allergies that he would tell me these stories to help me get to sleep. I didn't realize until later on that these bedtime stories were also life lessons for me. They gave me such self-confidence! I've always firmly believed that the underestimated underdog will always have a chance to be a winner!
