Publisher's Synopsis

Queensbury, home of the famous Black Dyke Mills Band, is located just over four miles from Bradford. Part one deals with the 20 years of bus operations between 1949 and 1969 and the second volume, being published simultaneously, covers up to 1974. There's a mix of colour and black and white photos in this book many of which were taken by the author himself. For the locals it's a simple dip into nostalgia of the local buses of old, but for enthusiasts there is plenty of information about routes, journey times and the various buses themselves.
