Dr. Flint, of Louisville, who was present, remarked that he had lately seen a case which recovered, perhaps in consequence Of the disease passing into the chronic state. The patient had received a lacerated wound, in the thigh, and the first symptom was the drawing up of the injured limb. There was never sufficient trismus to prevent mastication.
