Publisher's Synopsis
In this letter, Jesus comes to make ready a people for himself. For Jesus Christ, the Son of God is the true Vine, eat from his branches, and you will live. In the letter God speaks of loving his people so much, that he will take those who come to Him, and bring them out of darkness into the light, and into His Holy presence. Darkness being the course of this world, that satan rules over, and light, which is Jesus Christ, which is the true light, the light that brings about salvation for our soul.
