As in a not so lofty Greek tragedy; however, the heavens play a role in this quirky romance about the unromantic and random world of an alcoholic cab driver whose love affairs are strung along, one after another, like cab fares in the night, until outwitted by the bureaucracy of heaven, he surrenders his life and he is reunited with his first love, The Muse. This book is illustrated throughout with lino-cuts by the author.
