Publisher's Synopsis
Abigail and her friends finally brave the enemy country of Talamdor, in order to beard the Prophet of the One in his lair. They have two goals: first, to fulfil the quest laid on them by the Wayzenmoot, to steal the Master Bloodstone of Talamu and return it to Ranusheim to be destroyed; and second, to rescue Jacob from the Prophet's clutches. In the meantime, the armies of Talamdor have invaded Veylindré - time is running out for the questers. And Jacob is being groomed by the Prophet to succeed him.
