God is blamed for natural disasters (called acts of God), airplane crashes, car accidents, heart attacks, strokes, diseases, injuries, and deaths. Why is that? God killed the firstborn of David and Bathsheba, He tested Job's faith with vicious attacks from satan, and so forth.
