Publisher's Synopsis
This manual is the first of a series of three books inherent to the training path in bartending belonging to the series I Principi del Barman - [Principia Bartender] (The Barman's Principles) and is addressed not only to the experienced bartender but also to the one who would like, or is about to, undertake this path.
The themes dealt with in the work that the professional, or the aspiring one, must necessarily consider are of a moral nature, such as the exploration of one's own limits through the objectives one wishes to achieve, passing through dreams, the creation of one's own character, knowledge and self-awareness by learning the meanings of discipline and professional deontology, and of a technical nature, such as the study of ergonomics, the setting up of the work line, the method of classifying and displaying products, the secrets of applying the most effective sales techniques, the framing and placement of the customer in the reference market. These, and others, are the points on which this tool will converge. All the main and parallel things you need to know about the profession of bartender in an interdisciplinary essay that addresses the critical points of merceology, the technique of production and sale of drinks, and cocktail mixology.
