Publisher's Synopsis
The references to King Arthur contained in the Chronicon of Sigebert of Gembloux (c. 1030 - 1112) have been extracted and translated into modern English, keeping their chronological sequence from AD 457 through AD 542. Sigebert condensed annals and histories into one coherent survey. Popular in the Middle Ages in manuscript form, it was considered the best of its kind and served as the basis for many later works of history.
