This year was my hardest year ever of being a pastor. There were times when everything that could go wrong seemed to go wrong, but through it all, God was faithful and always made a way through the storm. I had no clue at the end of 2016 what was in store for 2017. There were times we laughed and rejoiced as God performed a miracle in my wife and there were times that we cried. God, over and over, warned me that there was a lying and controlling spirit that was coming against me and my church. I had no clue that I was in a battle with a literal demon until, in a dream, the name Rosier was spoken to me. I learned that no demon can stand to stay where there is a true out pouring of God's Spirit in a church. The Spirit of God showed up and pushed the demonic force outside of our church. The Ark of His Protection is about God showing up and The Shelter House Assembly of God trusting the process and going when He said to go.
