The ufe then we ?1ould'make of reading this chapter is, to be very fen fible'of the.great advantage werenjoy in being in the number Of thofe whom God has admitted into his church; and to exprefs our g1atitude by a fince1e en deavour to know, his will, by feuing him with pu1ity and zeal, and by walkiiig in his way. We lhould improve, by the example of the Jews, and by the judgments which are denounced againl't thole who oppofe God, left by our 1ebellion we expofe omfelves to thole dieadful judgments, which he will pou1 upon the wicked, and on all thole who do not iet e1ence his power.
