The year upon which we are entering bids fair to be an eventful one on many accounts. The war in Eastern Europe may involve all the great nations of that quarter of the globe before twelve months pass away. There are signs of the coming of other events of great moment. The times are critical, and in some respects, menacing. Let as stand, each in his lot, and do the work which God calls us to do, not too much troubled about what the future may bring forth. Our duty is plain; let as seek for grace from on high to dis charge it faithfully.
