IN the number of this journal for January, 1869, I recorded certain experiments which seemed to prove for pigeons an almost entire immunity from the in?uence Of Opium and morphia. Twenty-one grains of pow dered Opium, given internally; or, large doses of acet. Opu under the skin; or, two grains of sulph. Morphia used hypodermically, alike failed to produce any notable in?uence.
