The Alpha & Omega Bible (AOB) is a 5 volume series study bible and restoration of the original scriptures. This is volume 5 of the series. The translation is a compilation of scriptures from the Paleo-Hebrew fragments of the Dead Sea Scrolls, a revision of Brenton's translation of the Old Testament Greek Septuagint (LXX), as well as both testaments from the Codex Sinaiticus, the Codex Alexandrinus, and the Codex Vaticanus and many other ancient manuscripts. However, this volume is only the New Testament.
The original scriptures have been repeatedly translated for thousands of years. But along the way, mankind has added to and taken away from it, as was warned in the last verses of Revelation. The Alpha & Omega Bible (AOB) restores much of the original writings, for example using the word "Theos" which the apostles actually wrote instead of "God". This is a Jesus name bible. Yeshua and Yahweh are not original Paleo-Hebrew, but rather Babylonian Assyrian Aramaic. This is a Jesus name bible. This study bible also does not follow suite of the traditional Assyrian Babylonian doctrines of mankind. Political & religious correction gets thrown overboard in preference for the unfiltered, uncompromised truth. Therefore, if you are comfortable with traditional religion and never question traditional denominational doctrines, this is not the study bible for you. But if you truly seek truth and ask the difficult questions, then this study bible will definitely broaden your horizons and challenge traditional thinking. Search for "The Alpha & Omega Bible most accurate bible". However, the online version is in only one volume, therefore will look much different, but give you the same translation and notes. However, the online version is kept constantly updated, faster than what we can update the paperbacks, therefore will vary slightly in notes & translation. This New Testament paperback volume includes the words of Jesus in bold, and Old Testament quotations have a special underline. Notes include references to ancient manuscripts, Greek, Aramaic & Hebrew words and verse references. Notes indicate many, but not all, differences between KJV Masoretic text & Alexanderian text. This bible is a "must have" for every person in pursuit of the absolute truth of the original scriptures. Although the number of notes and cross references are not as great as most other study bibles, these notes don't obey the traditional denominational thinking, therefore give you a better opportunity to grow in truth. Please note that this translation is not based on the Masoretic Received Text manuscripts that the KJV is based upon, but rather upon the more reliable "Alexandrian" text manuscripts but does take into consideration the Byzantine text.
