The book idea is created to help children be outspoken in their observations by asking them repeatedly what THEY think Tucker's problem is, while the answer can be clearly seen by them in the illustrations.
This teachs children to identify and problem solve while encouraging them to speak out and verbally identify what Tucker needs. All the books in the series are being designed the same way. The series is also designed to help children move gently away from just pictures and into more reading. This will encourage them to lean more on reading for stimulation of their imaginations rather than illustrations. A multi purpose training tool for young minds to be wrapped up in.

Tucker is currently living in the Pacific Northwest with his family, he loves children more than anything, well, "except maybe FOOD", he enjoys camping, swimming, hiking, walking, winter sports, chipmunks, cats, other dogs and trips to the dog park.
A cute pet animal book, Tucker truly is, "Not quite like most other dogs", and he himself, through his charming personality, inspired the book, "THE DOG THAT HAD TO HAVE A PILLOW".
This is the first book in the adventure series, THE ADVENTURES OF TUCKER and follows Tucker and Emma through their first meeting and many situations that teach us who they are and who they are together.
THE ADVENTURES OF TUCKER are stories based on the true-life events of 'TUCKER TIBERIUS "FLY BOY" THE FIRST'.
At the release of this first edition the 2nd edition, "TUCKER GOES CAMPING" is already in the works and will be released shortly after this publication. The 3rd book in the series will be, "TUCKER GET'S A DAISY" unknown to him, Daisy turns out to be not a flower but an adorable little black female Labradoodle who, "May", become Tucker's lifelong friend but, we will need the help of your children to help Tucker solve the problems of integrating a new member into the family.
More adventures are certainly on the way.
The hope of the author, Angus MacDonald, is that reading this series will help inspire a deep love of reading that will last a lifetime. Reading has always been and will always be, a wonderful way to visit other places or simply to help get beyond the cares and worries of life if only for a short time and, take the reader to new places in the imagination.
