Once upon a sun, many moons past, a young one named Poololo belonging to a Pre-Columbian community of Euwinks avows that he would not allow his culture to succumb to the slavery of four greedy giants attempting to dominate the Valley of the Bat where he and his family live and thrive.
Poololo, knew that existence under oppression would destroy the delicate order and beauty of life as they lived it.
Thus Poololo sets out beside his father on a quest to locate a Magnificent Flying Pole that is rumored to restore balance to those in dire need and particularly in this case, to four cunning giants.
Yet Poololo's quest proves treacherous, demanding and certainly not unnoticed by the giants. Along the way Poololo and his father are assisted by an incredible number of interesting characters including, the wise white haired elders able to cultivate great powers, flying children, talking stones, and other incredible creatures.
