Chook, Chick and Cackles told Dougie not to go
play in the mud, but why, he didn't know.
He stayed in it, splashed in it and made a big mess,
He spread it around until nothing much was left.
O-oh, his webbed feet were stuck under the mud.
He tried lifting and wiggling but they stayed firmly stuck.
Berry the ladybug flew away to get the hens,
Farmer Fred wouldn't be back until goodness knows when.
Chook, Chick and Cackles didn't know what to do,
They couldn't get him out without getting stuck too.
How could they rescue their little friend Dougie?
He'd got himself stuck. His webbed feet all Muddy.
