Much of the economic debate going on in our country today centers on the deficit, and on the size and scope of the forthcoming stimulus package. These are very impor tant concerns. Our nation needs to attain strong economic growth again. And getting control over the deficit is central to building and sustaining the long-term economic health of the nation.
