This conference serves as a platform to bring together researchers and practitioners from academia, industry and government to discuss their experience, exchange ideas and present their research findings to peers of the same interest. One of the foundations of civilization and modern industrial for power generation and motive power, it works in the background keeping modern society running. Compressed air, in particular, is considered as the fourth utility after water, electricity and gas. Fluid machinery covers a wide field of engineering knowledge; however, this conference includes some latest development and application of fluid machinery in various areas of engineering applications with special attention to the "green energy" front due to increasing environmental concerns. On the engineering and technology part, this environmental awareness calls for the factors will contribute towards this improvement including advances in the fundamental understanding of fluid mechanics, computational fluid dynamics, heat transfer, propulsion, power generation and also materials engineering.
