Publisher's Synopsis
The personal events and anecdotes in this book are based largely on my memory, recalled to the best of my ability. My experience has been that, when a sizable group of old friends gathers to talk about the past, some will remember a given event in a certain way. Others will remember the event from a different perspective. Still others will not remember that particular event at all. Another individual might recall an event that I don't remember much about, if anything. This is perfectly normal. I'm sure most people have had this experience at some time.
For this reason, since this is my story, my version will prevail, even though others may rightfully have a somewhat different recollection. I call this phenomenon "The Toole Principle."
