Biosystematic categories are dealt with in the second chapter followed by static and dynamic concepts on plant taxonomy. Concept of population and concept of character are dealt with in chapter 4 and 5. Methods of sampling and processing data is given in the next chapter followed by breeding systems. Chapter 8 deals with methods in Experimental Taxonomy followed by source of Taxonomic characters. Subsequent chapters deal with taximetrics, species concept and Germplasm preservation. Practical Biosystematics is given at the end. The book is profusely illustrated.
