Publisher's Synopsis
Two men are shot and tortured out in the desert. Tensions continue to rise when homes are mysteriously ransacked looking for a valuable secret. The Law is stumped, but one person in town decides to fight back: John, the skinny thirteen year-old with a smart horse and his daddy's gun.
