Xavier has no intention of telling anyone who his fated mate is. Neither of the two Alphas he has are forcing the issue. Assigned to head down to the old Carion Pack's land to find a suitable person that Adair can pass her Alpha role to is a reprieve. The struggle he and his wolf have when his mate is near is getting worse.
Chasing a group called The Eight across the country distracts him from having to make a decision; one he will have to make eventually. If he continues to deny his Mating pull, The Eight might have a new member joining their makeshift pack.
