It is a practical modern course based on the Council of Europe's guidelines on language learning. The course covers the topic areas and language functions outlined by the Scottish Examination Board in the new Standard Grade Gaelic Learners Syllabus. A book accompanying the cassette is also available, as well as a book/cassette pack.
