Publisher's Synopsis
TeV physics is one of the most interesting and rapidly developing aspects of particle physics. With LEP at CERN and the Tatron at Fermilab, there is an intensive experimental effort to push the subject of high energy to the forefront of the TeV physics range.;The authorization of the SSC project will make p-p collisions at 20 TeV x 20 TeV a reality by the end of this century.;TeV physics is volume 8 in a series of proceedings published from symposia/workshops held annually in Beijing, at the China Centre of Advanced Science and Technology (CCAST). Lectures are delivered to Chinese scientists and students by some of the world's leading physicists.;This volume highlights current progress at CERN and Fermilab, the future programs at SSC and theoretical develoments on WZ physics, as well as the nature of symmetry-breaking forces. A forecast is also given for the progress of particle physics to the early part of the next century.;This book is intended to be a source of information to students and scientists working in related fields.
