I have tried to keep the individual short stories in Tangling Tales as unique as possible, yet they share some common themes.
You will find deceit, deception, love, hate, greed, selfishness, selflessness, prejudice, charity, redemption, and odd twists sprinkled throughout the stories.
A soldier coming to grips with his mortality, a mother and daughter reaping the results of mutual deceit, a frontiersman confronting his unfounded prejudices, a teacher learning a bitter lesson in humility and forgiveness, a police officer finding hope in life after a devastating injury, and a couple unexpectedly discover the real person they married.
Tangling Tales may be a little bizarre and off-center, but that is intentional. Hopefully, the stories will be thought-provoking; ideally, they will be entertaining.
