Tms little volume is composed of discourses or talks given from time to time to the Sunday schools of which the author has been pastor. It is intended as a plea for the Book of books, - the bible, for the precious promises and precepts which it contains; as a humble ofiering in the service of the Christian church and Sunday school and home, and as an aid in promoting that holy religion founded on the Fatherhood of God and the Brotherhood of Man. The world is yet waiting for this religion. Every contribution to it, however small, is worth something. This one is sent forth to the children and youth of our land, with the prayer that God would bless its mission With the approval and teaching of his Holy Spirit.
