Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from Tales of Adventure From the Old Book
Most Of us want to get on in the world. He who does not wish to improve himself, as a rule, does not count except as a O. In the book Of Judges, we have the' story of a revolution brought about by a young farmer who became a great man, who lifted his country out of oppression and Slavery.
This was how it came about. He was threshing wheat, not in the barn, or a place where the ?ail was generally used, but up among the vines, where no one would think Of looking for a man at that job. Those were hard times, when a man dare not let folks know that he had wheat, because Of the enemy who would certainly have stolen that which the farmer had toiled so hard to produce!
