About the Publisher
Cargo began in 2009 in Glasgow, Scotland, where we were drawn together through our passion for literature. We collaborate with the likes of McSweeney's and the Edinburgh International Book Festival and we sell and distribute books in four countries and even further afield through our foreign rights partners, Faber & Faber. We publish the Dundee International Book Prize, the biggest cash prize in the UK for an unpublished novel, and we always put our authors first. In 4 years we've gone from being a small dream to a significant part of the publishing world, and we're very proud of that.
