Publisher's Synopsis
This book is about adventures with my rescue dogs prior to them suffering great negligence before they found freedom in their new home with me. Having many animals, I found a greater affinity with my dogs. There are some guides in the book to off-leash training. I prefer this way because it's more of a natural bond, and shows their body language for us to learn.
Oska, the Red Cattle, is the main character in this book. He was a real alpha in the sense that every day was a challenge and every vet visit was uncertain. Oska suffered with anxiety, and the antics and adventures he got up to will put a smile on our face. My other rescues in the book include a Kelpie, a Rottweiler and a German Shepherd, and it covers some of their antics and adventures.
Photos have been used to show examples of Oska's adventures. The glint in his eyes explains his character.
Though there are several training books on the market, this book is for dealing with anxiety and the old habits of a rescue dog. It also discusses dogs' body language and how to read their needs.
I have had an extraordinary experience with my journey through saving dogs and showing them the kinder side of life, and learning about them and their needs after understanding what has happened prior to meeting them.
