THE FALL attempts to answer that question with an urgently relevant fictional political thriller that draws upon actual political events and pro-Trump personalities involved in the attempts to corrupt the 2020 Presidential election and conduct the January 6th, 2021 insurrection in the US Capitol. The book offers two endings; one where Democrats barely manage to save democracy from fascism, and an alternate scenario where Donald Trump seizes power.
The author spent a career in international security running security and intelligence operations in hot spots hotspots around the world witnessing democracies fall to tyrants and with the election of Donald Trump he has become increasingly alarmed at the indications America is following that path.
