I have always loved poems. I am one of those fortunate people who learned poems as part of my English, Hindi and Gujarati subjects. Poems are not taught as part of the English subject in the public schools anymore in my state in the United States of America and this according me is a big loss to the students.Poems tell us about a thought, a situation, a concern or an idea in just few words which at times cannot be captured with tons of words!It is very powerful because it comes straight from our hearts. The poems in this book, were written by me over a period, on varied subjects. Instead of just keeping them to myself, I thought of sharing with you.
